Kubli didn’t have to look far for inspiration. The water views of the Atlantic provided that in droves. In the dining room, bamboo, sisal and Philippines coconut surfaces wink at the Asian esthetic. Zebra print chairs introduce an element of surprise to the room. A chandelier of recycled glass and brown patina steel solidifies the safari motif. "I like to play with contrast," adds Kubli, ‘and give rooms those unexpected little twists.” In the master suite, said twists make way for glamour with tones of gold and rust, silk bedding and Eastern themed art in mirrored frames.
