The furniture builder then returns to the shop to make drawings. "Expect to pay $250 to $500 for a drawing fee," Weaver says. "At the second meeting, we review and critique the drawings and adjust them, and then give a contract price."
That price can vary widely. An approximate range for a built-in can be anywhere from $1,500 to $40,000, Weaver says.
