Eloise Kubli's Design At Hawks Landing Is A Perfect Balance Of Both

When her clients selected Hawks landing as the location for their new luxury home, veteran interior design professional Eloise Kubli, ASID, of Collective Construction & Design in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida was a natural choice to handle the project. Kubli has a special affinity with the prestigious community where she has completed several projects, including her own home.
"I collaborated on every aspect of the construction and design from the blueprint stage to the day the clients moved in", says Eloise who introduced a number of interesting elements to the project including coffered ceilings, faux finishes and special effects that add a formal element to the comfortable decor.
Her primary influence for the color palette was the couple's Indian heritage. A preference for light, earthy colors and rich, beautiful textiles was apparent, and the resulting color scheme is one of soft neutral tones highlighted with varying tones of gold, brown and sage green. Kubli had carte blanche with the new home, since the only existing pieces that would be taken from the client's previous home in Plantation, Florida were some favorite pieces of art.
The very soft color enhanced with luxurious palette was fabrics (chenilles, silks, cut velvets, and Ultra-suede) with beaded and embroidered embellishments that convey a subtle aura of opulence and sensuality. The furnishings and accessories, all carefully selected or custom-designed by Kubli draw heavily from European influences. Natural elements like stone, marble, metal and warm woods are evident in every room of the home. continued...
