Dr. R. and his wife, Terrie, are not audiophiles. They don't even watch that much TV. But when architects designed a media room into their 5,650-square-foot house, they found new meaning in the term " home entertainment."

"I have teen-aged kids," the Terrie explains. "I wanted a place where they could have friends come over and feel comfortable hanging out at our house." What they got, everyone agrees, was much more.
